Promo Kinder Rio 2Miritec LLC developed and launched the platform for Promo “Kinder Rio 2”, which was held all over Ukraine from April 01 till July 31, 2014
Ferrero SpA decided to launch the promo with characters from cartoon Rio 2. As technical contractor we had to provide full technical support and ensure successful promo arrangement in internet.
Women age 25-35 (the core of the target audience) with average/above average income, residents of big cities and business centers with population from 500 thousand people. Married, 1-2 kids age up to 10.
The base of the website was the new and cartoon Rio 2 by Blue Sky Studios and 20th Century Fox Animation. The tropics and cartoon heroes became the main elements of the website. To make the character come alive we used Parallax – upon moving the mouse button website object move or the new character appear.
During the promo the participants could win one of the guaranteed prizes: stylish T-shirt with hood, cool watches and eye-catching bag with cartoon characters. To participate in the promo one had to send 9,12 or 15 (depending on the kind of the prize) wrappers from any promo products by Kinder.
We placed all the info on the promo in special categories – Rules, Promo Products, Prizes, Winners, Video (Kinder video), Ask (a form of feedback, hotline number). In each category the participant could get the answers he needed and additional info.
Parallax and character actions became the main feature of the website. The Parallax effect goes across multiple pages, special effects were applied for example to Prizes category, were Kinder Bars light up with red upon moving the mouse over it.
