Promo website Kinder PinguiMiritec LLC was a technical partner during development of platform for promo Kinder Pingui, which was held from December 01 2014 til February 28, 2014.
Ferreo SpA approached us for developemtn of platform for the promo Kinder Pingui.
Our key task was to create bright and intresting web-resource with well-know characters for promotion of the Kinder products. The main audience and the main user were young moms. For this reason interface had to be simple and user-friendly.
During the promo the participants could win one of the guaranteed prizes: hoodie or headphones. To participate in the promo one had to send 15 wrappers from promo products (KINDER MAXI KING, KINDER MILK-SLICE, KINDER PINGUÌ) in one letter. The participants who wanted to win hoodies had to specify the size.
Women age 25-35 (the core of the target audience), with average/above average income, residents of big cities and business centers with population from 500 thousand people. Married with 1-2 kids age up to 15.
The website design was developed using Prallax effect, which made it come alive. We refused the use is Flash to make the website available on smartphones.
The website includes several categories – Rules, Promo products, Winners, Video, Questions.
The participant can get all the answers to the questions arising by going through the categories as well as attaining the additional information. Thus, information on the promo winner was available with filter by surname, city and alphabet, type of prize; amount of prizes won was displayed near the prize image. We also simplified the use of the website for administrator by creating user-friendly CMS, where one could easily edit the Winner’s category and the rest of the information.
All the information on the promo participants, prizes and delivery status is stored in the CMS. The delivery status can be marked as “Blocked”, “New”, “WIP”, “Packaged, “Sent”, “Returned”. Delivery statuses help in monitoring the prize being received by the winner. Also the CMS stores the info on participants’ age, which to a large extent simplifies the analysis of the data on audience attracted.
The client was extremely pleased by the promo success. To a large extent the success was due to us making a well thought-through and effective technical decision.
